We are not investing directly in individual or infill projects. Instead, we work at the district-scale, cultivating an interconnected economy where culture, learning, housing, business, ecology, art, and public space work together to create opportunity.

1803 views prosperity through an ecosystem lens. Lasting transformation happens when investments in people and place reinforce one another. We envision learning as a capital asset, embedded into the physical, social, and cultural life of the district. Here, the neighborhood becomes a classroom, and the classroom becomes an extension of the neighborhood, making learning continuous, visible, and integrated into everyday life.

Rebuild Albina is designed to build permanence

Black-led ownership, cultural and educational programming, and economic value that can be retained, reinvested, and carried forward across generations.
